Betsy Disharoon, DMD
Dr. Disharoon received her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a master's in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed a residency at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
Dr. Disharoon is committed to mastering her craft, and she focuses her continuing education on expanding her knowledge of Clear Braces, general dentistry, implant restoration, relaxation techniques, smile makeovers & cosmetic dentistry. Professional affiliations include the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and Massachusetts Dental Society. A former president of Women's Dental Society of Massachusetts, Dr. Disharoon is an active member of the American Association of Women Dentists.
Married to Dr. Douglas Stewart, a Hingham endodontist, Dr. Disharoon is proud of her blended family of five children and two granddaughters. Dr. Disharoon regularly gives back to the community by participating in the MAC Van service, which provides dentistry to children who normally don't have access to dental care. To relax, Dr. Disharoon spends time kayaking, making unique cards, meditating, and exercising, including yoga.
